Fiat 500F
The 500F dates from 1965 to 1972, making it one of the most popular models. It’s essentially very similar to the 500D in most aspects, except with front-hinged rather than ‘suicide’ doors and different badging. The engine remains the same and there were small cosmetic updates added over the years. For many years this was sold alongside the later L, as a base model alternative to the luxury version.
Best suited for:
People who want a truly classic look without the expense of the D
Pros:
- The ageless charm of the 500D within a very affordable package
Cons:
- Very few – a perfect compromise
