Fiat 500L
The 500L stands for ‘lusso’ – and it was built from 1968 to 1972 as the range-topping model. It introduced a new interior for the first time, with a rectangular instrument panel and a plastic-covered dashboard, as well as more comfortable seats. There were also tubular extensions to the bumpers, more storage space, and new steering wheel design, as well as carpets rather than rubber mats.
Best suited for:
Owners who would like a bit more luxury compared to the standard 500
Pros:
- More comfortable drive and extra chrome
Cons:
- Some people prefer the classic round dashboard and steering wheel
